This Privacy Policy explains how Bluefin Biomedicine (“Bluefin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit www.bluefinbiomed.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it.

Our Site is hosted and operated on the Squarespace platform. We do not run advertising, sell products, send marketing email campaigns, or use third-party analytics or tracking tools on the Site. By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. If you submit the contact form on the Site, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, company, and the message you write. We use this only to respond to you (see Section 4).
Please do not include health information, patient information, or any other sensitive personal information in the contact form or your message. The Site is not designed to receive protected health information, and we ask that you not send it to us through the Site.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site is hosted by Squarespace, which automatically collects certain technical information when you visit, including:
• Your IP address and approximate location (such as country or city)
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and how long you stay
• The website you came from before arriving at the Site (the referrer)
Squarespace uses this information to deliver the Site securely, keep it running, and provide us with basic traffic statistics. We do not use any separate analytics, advertising, or tracking tools beyond what Squarespace provides.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. The Site uses only the cookies that Squarespace, our hosting platform, sets. They fall into two groups:

6. Retention and security
Retention. We keep contact-form submissions and related emails only as long as needed to respond to you and handle any follow-up, and as long as we are required to keep them for legal or business record-keeping purposes. Technical data held by Squarespace is retained under Squarespace’s own retention practices. You may ask us to delete your contact-form information at any time (see Section 7).
Security. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information, and Squarespace applies its own security controls to the hosting platform. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
• Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Delete your personal information
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability, meaning receive your information in a portable format

International transfers. Bluefin is based in the United States, and Squarespace may process data in the United States and other countries. If you visit the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as those Squarespace provides through its data processing terms.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The Site does not track visitors across other websites for advertising. Because our use of data is limited as described here, we treat browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals as opt-outs of any sale or sharing, which we do not do in any case.
