SCOTT LONNING
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Lonning brings more than 25 years of experience in drug discovery and development across immunology, fibrosis, and oncology. As CEO of Bluefin Biomedicine, he leads the company’s scientific and strategic direction, advancing a portfolio of first-in-class antibody therapeutics grounded in human biology.

Prior to Bluefin, Dr. Lonning held senior research and development leadership roles at Genzyme and Sanofi, where he led diverse programs in immunotherapy, pathologic fibrosis, and oncology. As Oncology Research Area Head, he was responsible for the research and early development of a broad portfolio of small-molecule and biologic therapeutics. Notably, he advanced Genzyme’s first antibody program, an anti-TGF-β antagonist, into multiple early clinical studies across pulmonary, renal, and oncologic indications.

Dr. Lonning has co-authored more than 40 scientific publications, is a co-inventor on multiple patents, and is a frequent invited speaker at scientific meetings worldwide. He earned his DVM from the University of California, Davis, and completed comparative anatomic pathology training and a PhD at Washington State University.


UNEEK MEHRA
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Uneek Mehra brings more than 30 years of international experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology finance, corporate strategy, business development, and M&A. As CFO of Bluefin Biomedicine, he leads the company’s finance, corporate strategy, investor relations, corporate communications, and procurement functions.

Prior to Bluefin, Mr. Mehra held senior leadership roles at Novartis and multiple biotechnology companies, serving as CFO of both public and private organizations. Throughout his career, he has led numerous financing and strategic transactions, including the acquisition of Myovant Sciences by Sumitomo Pharma. He has also helped scale organizations through periods of significant commercial growth and has driven operational performance across a range of business models and geographies, including the United States, Europe, China, and India.

Mr. Mehra earned his MBA in Strategy and Leadership from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland; a Master of Management Studies in Finance from the University of Mumbai; and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.


Alain Curaudeau
Head of BusinESS Development

Alain Curaudeau brings more than 30 years of international experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology business development, strategy, and portfolio management. At Bluefin Biomedicine, he leads partnering, alliance strategy, and business development activities.

Prior to Bluefin, Alain held senior leadership roles at Sanofi and multiple biotechnology companies, where he was responsible for oncology strategy, portfolio management, and global business development. His experience spans in-licensing, out-licensing, and alliance management across early and late-stage programs, including contributions to the development of multiple marketed therapies.

Alain earned a PharmD from the University of Paris XI and is certified in toxicology and pharmacokinetics. He also completed executive training at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
